OUR priorities
Though we come from different neighborhoods and life experiences, we share a love of Sleepy Hollow. We will bring new energy to community building and economic growth, prioritizing a transparent and thoughtful approach to improving our Village for all.
FINANCIAL Transparency & Stability
As our Village grows, we will continue to improve Sleepy Hollow’s financial health. We will never take on additional debt on the backs of taxpayers without a plan to insulate residents from major tax increases, a mistake made in 2020 that caused recent tax increases. We will also explore creative ways to generate new revenue.
Build & Strengthen Community
We will beautify our public spaces and increase walkability throughout the Village. We are committed to partnering with our dedicated police, firefighters and ambulance corps to preserve the well being and liveability of all of our neighborhoods.
Clear Communication
We are committed to communicating with residents through new platforms. We welcome input to guide our priorities and encourage civic participation to collectively improve our vibrant Village.
Economic Development & Revitalizing Downtown
We support our local businesses and will establish a task force to attract new ventures to bring vibrancy to long empty storefronts along Beekman, Valley, Broadway and Cortlandt so everyone will have more places to dine and shop, boosting our local economy.
Clean Water & Air
Infrastructure must be improved to protect residents and keep the Hudson clean for everyone’s enjoyment. We will work with the County and State to advance projects to address pipes and other infrastructure that impacts our residents’ health.
This campaign is about building a stronger, more connected Sleepy Hollow for all of our residents.
We believe our Village deserves a government that listens, responds, and innovates - while keeping taxes low through fiscal responsibility.
