• Marjorie Hsu

    Marjorie has lived in Sleepy Hollow for over a decade and has been a hands-on, dedicated civic leader throughout. She has served as Chair of the Planning Board, driven an ambulance for the Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Corps, led media literacy workshops with the League of Women Voters, and helped create pollinator gardens across the village. She co-founded the Community Food Garden in Barnhart Park and was instrumental in helping the local school district become the first in Westchester to include Asian American history in its curriculum. Today, she serves as Vice Chair of The New York Community Trust – Westchester, Co-Chair of the Westchester County Asian American Advisory Board, and a member of the newly formed New York State AAPI Commission.

    Marjorie Hsu is running for Mayor of Sleepy Hollow, driven by a deep commitment to public service and a strong belief in the power of local government to shape everyday life. From clean water and safe streets to vibrant green spaces and transparent communication, Marjorie believes the role of village leadership is to safeguard what makes our community so special—while planning thoughtfully for the future.

    Professionally, Marjorie brings decades of leadership experience in the tech and telecom sectors, having served as an executive at Verizon, Chief Technology Officer at Singtel, and Chief Revenue Officer at a startup. She now advises early-stage companies and sits on several advisory boards focused on cyber-security, data science and Gen AI. Marjorie holds an MBA and BS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.

    Marjorie’s values are rooted in her own lived experience as the daughter of immigrants and a proud product of public schools. She embodies the American Dream, and she’s spent her life giving back—whether through nonprofit board service, mentoring young professionals, or helping shape policies that build stronger, more inclusive communities.

  • Cory Krall

    Cory is a dedicated Sleepy Hollow resident and first-time candidate for the Village Board of Trustees. A native of Ossining, Cory understands what makes the River Towns such a special place to grow up—and to raise a family.

    Cory and her family have called Sleepy Hollow home for over a decade. After living in Webber Park, they moved to Philipse Manor in 2021. She and her husband are raising two young children, now in kindergarten and 2nd grade, both of whom attend the local public schools. Cory is an active volunteer with the PTA, and her family is deeply involved in the community through programs like AYSO, TNT, Sleepy Hollow Lacrosse, and the Rivertown Rays.

    Cory is running for the Village Board because she cares deeply about the future of Sleepy Hollow. As a parent, neighbor, and community advocate, she is committed to helping the village grow thoughtfully—attracting great businesses to our downtown, preserving affordability for our diverse population, and maintaining the unique character that makes Sleepy Hollow such a special place to live.

    Professionally, Cory brings a background in education, with experience in school operations, project management, family engagement, and community outreach. She holds a BA in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a clear communicator, a thoughtful listener, and someone who works hard to get things done.

  • Jared Rodriguez

    Jared lives in Downtown Sleepy Hollow with his family in a house built around 1905. He and his wife painstakingly renovated the house over 6 years. There they raise their young son and daughter. He chose Sleepy Hollow to raise a family for its walkable downtown, rail access, history, natural beauty, and its diverse people. In his role as Trustee, Jared actively promotes environmental and economic sustainability as well as improved downtown economic development and walkability. Jared believes Sleepy Hollow should host a vibrant downtown, full of bustling shops, restaurants and employment opportunities serving residents' needs.

    Jared is the founder and principal of Emergent Urban Concepts, a planning, regulatory and policy, and development advisory firm. Combining his expertise across sectors, Jared has extensive experience leading policy and regulatory efforts for energy- and climate-related initiatives. Jared works with businesses, state and municipal governments, utilities, building owners, and other organizations on issues related to decarbonization, technology, real estate planning, development and management, transportation and the local economy. In all his work, Jared develops effective approaches to complex problem solving, identifies appropriate solutions, prioritizes actions to help his clients meet challenging goals over time.

    Jared holds a BS in Civil Engineering and Architectural Studies from Tufts University and an MS in Real Estate Development from New York University. He serves his community in his second term as Village Trustee and as a Commissioner of the Taconic Regional State Parks Commission. Jared is also Vice President of non-profit Garner Arts Center.

    With a strong record of service and a forward-looking vision, Jared is eager to continue working for a sustainable, inclusive, and thriving Sleepy Hollow.

  • Jairo Triguero

    Jairo is a proud lifelong resident of Sleepy Hollow, having called the village home for over 25 years. A product of the local public schools—from John Paulding through Sleepy Hollow High School—Jairo has deep roots in the community and a firsthand understanding of the changes and challenges the village has experienced over the decades. He grew up on Beekman Avenue in the heart of Sleepy Hollow’s downtown and has always remained closely connected to the place he calls home.

    Jairo is best known to many residents through his work managing Grape Expectations, a local favorite where he has spent years building meaningful relationships, hosting community events, and supporting local causes. Whether catering fundraisers, helping organize celebrations, or simply chatting with neighbors, Jairo is deeply engaged with the everyday life of Sleepy Hollow residents.

    Professionally, Jairo trained at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute and has worked in the food and hospitality industry across the country—from high-end catering events like the Jack Nicklaus Golf Tour in Ohio to revitalizing menus in restaurants in Miami, New York City, and right here in the Rivertowns. No matter where his career has taken him, Jairo has always returned to Sleepy Hollow—drawn by its history, diversity, and sense of community.

    Jairo is running for Village Trustee because he believes that strong leadership starts with listening. He is committed to representing the voices of all residents and helping guide thoughtful growth while preserving the charm, affordability, and inclusivity that define Sleepy Hollow.
