Outreach to residents with an easier process for you to sign up for newsletters and real-time alerts
Along with the monthly newsletter, you'll receive a weekly bulletin of upcoming events and reminders, and recaps of Board meetings
Expanded use of the Village Facebook and Instagram platforms
Advance Development Projects
Pass and implement Vacant Storefront Legislation
Adopt best practices for downtown revitalization, and implement a facade improvement and restoration program with grant funds
Accelerate redevelopment of vacant lots on Beekman Avenue and provide interim parking solutions by this spring
Dedicate and open the Clinton/Continental Street extension
Move EnvironmentAL Initiatives Forward
Implement the Climate Action Plan across Village functions to increase resilience against climate change impacts
Accelerate the transition to efficient street lights across the Village
Begin installing solar and EV chargers at Village Hall with grant funds
Kick off a study to clean up the Pocantico River and Fremont Pond
Enact recommendations to reduce sewage discharge into the Hudson River
Solve Urgent Traffic and Parking Issues for Residents
Reactivate the Transportation and Parking Committee with representation from all neighborhoods
Implement a Downtown and Edge resident permit parking program when NYS legislation passes in January
Implement redesigns of dangerous intersections through the Safe Streets for All program focusing on N. Washington, Lawrence, River, and N. Hemlock, and advocate for NYSDOT phased Route 9 Complete Streets implementation
Partner with private Downtown parking lot owners to make more evening and overnight parking available.
Improve and expand Project Mover bike share
